The Problem I pay Dillon what it actually costs to ship your order. Which will be $100 - $200+ for a press/accessory order to Alaska or Hawaii. But my web store has free shipping for orders over $400, which is based on my average costs within the 48 states. And since Dillon's dealer margin is fairly low, I lose money on Dillon orders shipped to AK or HI that are placed through my web store.
The Solution
If you agree that I can re-bill your credit card for my "extra" shipping costs - after you place the order - you can place the order in my store.
Example An Alaska customer places a press/accessory order in my store that cost me $150 to ship from Dillon. I will subtract what it would have cost me to ship the order to the lower 48 from $150, and re-bill your card for the difference. (If it would have cost me $50 to ship to the lower 48, and Dillon charged me $150, I'll rebill your card for $100.)
I've done that for quite a few Alaska and Hawaii customers, and everyone's been real happy with my service.
Note for "Small Orders"
For orders other than presses, casefeeders, tumblers, etc. - that weigh less than 10 lbs. or so - just go ahead and place the order through my store, I won't charge you extra for shipping.
Important
If you read this and place an order in my store: TYPE - "I agree to pay extra shipping charges, if necessary" - in the "Customer Message" field of the Checkout Page. Otherwise I may void the order.
Alaska and Hawaii orders ship USPS Priority Mail - the Postal Service is much cheaper than FedEx or UPS.
Please call before ordering if you have any questions.
