Our Only Problem

“It doesn’t have to be fun to be fun.”

-Mark Twight

Not knowing we are thinking is our only problem.

Mental difficulty is created, unknowingly, in two realms. First, you don’t know you are thinking. And, you care about the topic: you wish something was not how it is.

Caring is double-edged.

Care about what is immediately and obviously good, like family, friends, pets, health, and to fuel self-improvement.

In all other realms, caring about things that are better off left alone is the human plague.

The mind revolves in disorder because the source of disturbance has not been clearly witnessed. It is inattention itself.

The greatness of awareness: it is incapable of self-deception.

At random moments, pause, and know you are aware. Immediately everything is more fun.
