Pause
“For those who live in Self as the beauty devoid of thought, there is nothing which should be thought of. That which should be adhered to is only the experience of silence, because in that supreme state nothing exists to be attained other than oneself. … The experience of silence alone is the real and perfect knowledge.” -Ramana Maharshi
Each day, set aside a few minutes and do this… (You don’t have to go to a special place or sit down or do anything.) Let go of every idea, be silent, and for five breaths: know you are breathing in … know you are breathing out.
Then pause and remember the “knowing” that was aware of the “five” breaths.
Was it male, or female?
We are that knowing.
Stabilize in the knowing essence—the feeling of simply being aware—and the mind, with all its problems and worries, disappears.
