The Bonus Round

The Buddha, silencing dispensing knowledge to Nobody, who doesn’t give a shit.

“Simply remaining in the noticing or knowing quality [of whether there is thought-movement or stillness] is a correct basis for true practice.”
-Tsoknyi Rinpoche

When thinking is unnecessary, shift attention to just being aware: just listen.

When you are aware of the silence only, are there any problems? Does anything need to be changed or improved?

In silence is a tacit intelligence (wordless understanding).

You eat food and your body takes care of the rest. Similarly, pay attention and living takes care of itself.

Set aside some time each day to experience this miracle: When you know you are not thinking, there are no problems.

And the Bonus Round: A thought that you are immediately aware of will always be helpful.

“It’s in the silence that your problems dissolve. Try it. It really works.”
-Robert Adams
