Regard thoughts as objects: nothing you perceive is yours. 

There is nothing about the appearance of a thought that is personal. 

The connection or relationship between a thought and an object is imagined. Realize that as a fact, and living simplifies itself.

The fewer things you claim as your own, the happier you naturally are.

Stop thinking about yourself all the time. Nothing plagues humans more than a false sense of personal importance.
