This Is Key

“The discovery that our self is not essentially a body or a mind, but is in fact the aware being or presence that knows or witnesses them, has radical and profound implications.”
-Rupert Spira
Throughout the day, pause into silent, self-awareness: Know you are aware.
For thousands of years, spiritual teachers have been pointing to this: What we actually are is not anything known with the mind. Because all the mind knows is conditioned knowledge.
You are the unconditioned knowing in all that is known. Whether you are seeing or hearing, smelling or tasting, upset or smiling, the real “you” is always aware of everything.
Whenever possible, stay in the silence, and see what happens to your life.

When you know you are aware, you are what you know.
